THE LONG STORY
The Dyna Comp Bass Compressor delivers the most iconic compression sound in music history, tweaked and tuned just for bass players. Built around the classic CA3080 “metal can” integrated circuit for its quiet operation, superior transparency, and increased dynamic range, this pedal comes with all the controls you need to shape your compressed sound in no time at all.
The heroes of the Dyna Comp Bass Compressor’s interface are the Clean and Tone controls. The Clean control lets you add in your unaffected bass signal so that you can maintain low end integrity, while the Tone control adjusts the upper midrange to retain the tonal dynamics of your bass. Familiar Output and Sensitivity controls set volume level and the length of sustain, while the Attack switch toggles between a vintage style slow attack time and a modern style fast attack time.
And you know what? It all comes in an MXR mini housing, so making room for it on your pedalboard will be a cinch.

Great deal for the money, look sharp, and very sturdy

I was looking to create pipe shelves in our living room. After spending some time researching prices for pipe and wood, I determined that I would save money by buying a couple sets of these shelves.
When the shelves came in, I was happy to learn that they were indeed good quality and easy to assemble. They come with mounting hardware, but I’d recommend better mounts for the walls than the ones supplied.
Overall, I love the look of these shelves. The wood is described as reclaimed, but it’s pretty much cheap, light wood with a stain. They still look good and are sturdy. The pipes has some silver paint brushed on them to give them a distressed look. I thought it was actually a little cheesy looking, but I happened to have iron-colored spray paint, so I just respirated them.

Looks good but the wall anchors is TRASH!

The product is heavy and sturdy once you get it up completely. The issue I have is with the instructions...
1. The 5/16 drill bit is recommends is WAY TO BIG. The Anchors it comes with will slip right through. The screws that is comes with are WAY TO SMALL for the weight. I recommend getting better ones from the hardware store and painting the screws black for better aesthetics.
2. The instructions say to put it together first then hang it on the wall. That is great so you can see where you want to place it and because it is actually bigger than it looks, but you will need to de-assemble it from the bottom shelf down after you mark where you want to place it, then put that part on the wall, then reassemble it from there, securing the top part to the wall last. The instructions sucked but that is what worked best for me.
Another thing is when you first assembling it, you will notice that you will have to unscrew it a bit so the pipes can fast the correct way. This will make it feel flimsy, but it will tighten up when you secure it to the wall.
Also, like some people said in previous reviews, some of the black paint did peel off the pipes, not to much for me but it was noticeable if you look at it hard enough.

Love the look of these

I love the look of these. Bought for towel storage over my toilet. They look really classy and I'm so happy with them. However, its important to note that the wall anchors they provide are way too big for the screws. The screws just fall into the inside of the anchor without even being screwed in. So there's no way you could secure the wall unit with the ones provided. We had to replace the anchors with some I already had. Other than that very happy with the quality and look.
